Provide options when teaching #music teachers

While it is tempting to provide what you feel is the "best" method for any aspect of teaching, what you are really doing is providing one method based on your biased opinion. It is better to provide several sound models and let students decide for themselves what best suits their pedagogy. Try not to dig in your heels, as you inevitably end up tête-à-tête with your students, pushing them while they push you right back.
