Online and in love

I find myself teaching more and more online. While I was dragged kicking and screaming into this environment, I am really enjoying it. I will say that if I ever am taken out of the classroom entirely, I will miss it. To remedy the group environment, I will probably join the countless thousands or millions that walk, drive or commute to their favourite coffee shop and set up residence for the day. That is one thing I have learned: you really need a positive, naturally lit work space to work on the computer for any length of time. I, unfortunately, am still stuck in the basement - those kids!!!! So, I must be brave and take the ol' laptop and venture out. It will become a necessity as I take-on more and more virtual work. Funny, I am writing this thoughtfully although no one may ever read it. Ahhhh, the internet, it's like any relationship. It gives and it takes. It listens and it ignores.
