My thoughts
Call it work of love or love of work but it is work. It is funny how many times people say, "You teach music, that must be fantastic to teach what you love." Some days it is and some days it is just that, work. I think when you are driven in what you do, and many people are, you can run yourself into the ground because there is no finish line. That was a line that Reebok used when I was a kid. I even had that on my sweatshirt, "There is no finish line." I liked it at the time but now I realise what it truly means, it can be a downer. No matter what you do in a day, there is always more to do. Ahhh, I may have been at this desk too long. Time to call it a night. I deserve it. I have at least come to a "check point" in this life's journey.
