This is my vision of Johnny Carson's late night show sound fusing with Huddie William Ledbetter's blues aesthetic. What emerges is a southern, pit-orchestra with plenty of room for improvisation on the basic blues form. Sample improvisations written for the baritone saxophone and the bass trombone. Lead trumpet is required to play a high B and lead trombone is required to play a high A.
