What's better than playing a MJ classic? Swinging an MJ classic. Vocals arranged for either Soprano or Tenor and Alto or Baritone, but the melody can just as easily be sung by one vocalist or a substitute trumpet. My expanded arrangement [5 trumpets and six saxophones (2 baritones)] leaves lots of room for the singers while still introducing some interesting supporting lines for each section. The chart can also be played with a more traditional big band instrumentation (tacet Baritone 1 and Trumpet 5). The guitar and piano are featured, giving the original introduction a bit of a twist and ending the arrangement on the same "note."
